Sangria weather is here! Sangria is one of my favourite drinks for summer but I don’t normally like to drink a lot of alcohol, it seems to catch up with me far too quickly (I’m a lightweight, basically.)
So this is a version I can happily sip on all day and it tastes just as delicious!
Plus, this is a pretty healthy punch too, which is always a bonus.
I originally tried this recipe with lemonade but found it far too sweet so tried carbonated water instead, which was perfect. The fruit juice provides plenty of natural sweetness.
I love scooping the juice-soaked fruit out from the bottom of the glass to eat afterwards. So delicious!
I’m also sharing this recipe over on the Laura Ashley blog, so head over there to read the post and see me show off my beautiful new dress!

What’s your favourite summer drink?
Thanks for sharing! Any favorite brands for water?
This looks so good! What a great one to have for a shower or party with a mixed guest list!
Can you use ginger ale or lemon-lime soda instead of carbonated water?
Hi Aimee,
I loved your Mock Sangria recipe. I also featured it in our website Greenthickies.com (10 Best Non Alchoholic Healthy Cocktails).
I didn’t post the actual recipe, just one image from here and a small quote and link directly back here.
Fantastic work!
Thanks a lot:)
Katherine,

sounds lovely – I feel the same about sangria because I don’t drink much so any alcohol goes to my head, but I love sangria. I just wish it was easier to find red grape juice – sometimes I have used red fizzy grape juice instead because I find plain red grape juice hard to find
oh really? I find it’s usually in the aisle with the long-life juices (not the chilled section) Welches purple grape juice is my favourite and seems to be easy to get hold of, around here at least! I love fizzy grape juice too, like Amé etc.
So pretty! It’s nice to have a lovely non-alcohol alternative and the fruit makes this extra special. :)
Mmm, this sounds nice. I tried Sangria for the first time in January in Tenerife. I bought a litre of it but left it round my friend’s house. This will have to do until I get it back!
Refreshing and perfect for the summer picnic or barbeque
O perfect, perfect for me! Even if I was legally of age to drink, I would not and proudly never will :)
