After spending a week in bed, recovering from the flu and a chest infection, I’ve been searching for ways to boost my immune system this winter.
There are many ways to keep colds at bay but my favourite remedy is this Mulled Cranberry, Apple & Promegranate drink.
Not only is it full of immune-boosting vitamins and anti-oxidants but it is so bold and delicious, making it a wonderful non-alcoholic alternative to mulled wine during the festive season.
It’s also a very comforting drink to sip on when you’re already feeling under the weather, the warm liquid helps sooth your throat and keep you hydrated.

Hello,
This looks great, I just have a quick question, which may make me seem like a simpleton, but i was wondering can it be made, bottled and then re-heated?
Many and more thanks

Hi David, sorry I didn’t see your comment before. I’m not sure actually… I would say you could bottle it and keep it in the fridge for a week but I wouldn’t think any longer would stay fresh. Let me know if you try it!

Thanks for the reply, Aimee. I did make it, bottle it, and chilled it (but only for about 24 hours). It went down a storm at my family’s bonfire night. My only regret is that I didn’t make a bigger batch as people loved it. They drank the pot dry. They want me to make it for every wintertime get together. So thank you for sharing! It is a keeper for sure.
