If you haven’t already heard about Braintree, they are an ethical clothing brand originally from Australia but now based in the UK. I’ve been collaborating with them for nearly a year now and the more I get to know them as a company, the more I love them! I was recently sent a few items from the spring collection to wear, including the amazing dress above. PLUS I’ve got an exclusive discount for you all – 20% off at Braintree Clothing! Sorrel Tea Dress: The last time I got a dress from Braintree, I proclaimed it to be my new favourite item of clothing. Well, this dress has knocked it off the top spot. I completely fell in love with it! The colour, the pattern, the shape, the material (the softest organic bamboo) – everything. It’s such a flattering fit. It makes me want to twirl around!
Side note: You may have noticed I chopped all my hair off! Well, 15 inches of it, at least.
Along with my lovely new dress, I also got this jacket and top. I didn’t get round to photographing myself in these but they are beautiful! I especially love the jacket which I would describe as the perfect spring jacket.
Stornoway Waterproof Jacket: Light enough for the slightly warmer weather, but still warm enough for cooler days. I love that it has pully strings so that you can cinch in the waist for a more fitted, flattering look. It also has built-in fingerless gloves for warm hands :-)
Blomst Organic Cotton Top: Light, comfortable and cheerful – perfect for casual spring wear!
My wishlist from the Braintree SS16 collection:
I just love the minimal whites and Moroccan blues in Braintree’s new Summer range. Here are a few of my favourite picks:
Latifa Hemp Dress (pictured above): I’m not sure if this dress would suit me personally but I think it is so gorgeous! I love the belted waist and soft, muted shades.
Campion White Dress (pictured above, left): I need this dress for summer. It is so cute and pretty. I love the embroidered details!
Mangata Dip Dye Top (pictured above, right): How beautiful is this top?? Summer ombre perfection. And you can just tell the material is so soft and comfortable.
Nalu Hemp Kimono (pictured above): One of my favourite picks. A stunning kimono made from 55% hemp and 45% organic cotton with a beautiful wave design. It sort of reminds me of Hokusai’s ‘The Great Wave off Kanagawa’
Rosalia Bamboo Scarf (pictured below): A very pretty, light scarf – perfect for summer.
Hembury Stripey Bamboo Socks (pictured below): I am in love with Braintree’s socks. They are SO comfortable and I just love a good quality sock. I fell in love with the cute pastel shades in this pair.
