Today I want to introduce you to my new favourite clothing brand: Braintree. Originally from Australia but now based in London, this natural clothing company sets themselves apart with beautiful, quality fashions whilst caring for the environment. Using sustainable fibres and a respect for human rights, shopping at Braintree means you can own beautiful clothes with a clear conscience. They also state in their animal welfare policy: “We strive to support our vegan customers: we highlight products that have been certified vegan by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). “
I discovered this wonderful clothing company when they contacted me a few months ago, to discuss a blogging partnership. Since then, I have contributed recipes to their blog and in return, they have provided me with some gorgeous ethical clothing which I want to share with you all. I’m also offering a discount code for 15% off your order at Braintree! Scroll down for details…
Side note: Please excuse my very awkward poses as I’m (clearly) not used to modelling. Anyway, in the first photo, I am wearing my new Alva Rose Waterproof Anorak. Not only is this waterproof but it’s also padded with an organic cotton jersey lining – so cosy! The other cool thing about this jacket is that the ribbed cuffs have thumb holes, allowing you to use them as fingerless gloves. Handy, huh? At first I thought it might be a little big for my small frame but now I quite like the fact that it’s a little roomy on me as no one likes a restrictive jacket. For the record, my “normal-sized” friend tried this on and it fitted her to perfection. But I told her it’s MINE.
In this photo, I’m wearing my FAVOURITE new Yalla Zee Check Dress. I am completely in love with this dress and have been wearing it at every opportunity! It’s comfy with a gorgeous material, minimal yet striking and is my idea of the perfect autumn dress. I’m wearing it with some Cedar Jo Bamboo Tights which are the most ridiculously comfy pair of tights I’ve owned. The colour of these tights unfortunately do not suit my black boots but pairs wonderfully with brown and camel shades.
A few more of my favourites from Braintree’s AW15 collection…
Nanga Roll Neck Sweater. I love this 100% organic sweater in red. It would be perfect for Christmas time!
Wanda Clye Spotted Pocket Dress. This is my kind of dress. I love the flattering fit and the fact is has hidden pockets too.
Zetland Pinafore Dress. Perfect for layering with long sleeved tops and cardigans.
Narwee Cropped Cardigan. A simple, soft cardigan in a lovely natural shade. I can imagine it would go with almost anything!
Macquarie Check Shirt. A wonderfully unique shirt with two shades of check patterns. A mixture of organic hemp and cotton. Would be lovely with some jeans and boots for a relaxed autumn look.
Tasmania Patchwork Throw. How cosy does this look? I think I’d want to live in this throw.
Nyota Ring. A beautiful star ring, ethically handcrafted in Kenya. I don’t normally wear gold jewelry but I’ve fallen in love with this piece.
Tiari Kay Fairisle Scarf. Made from organic cotton and wool, this scarf looks unbelievably soft and cosy.
Tiari Kay Fairisle Beanie. Again, it looks so soft and cosy and I especially love the purple shade in this fairisle pattern.
Pippa Bamboo Welly Socks. I actually already have these socks and they are the cutest socks I own, not to mention great quality and very comfortable. So I would love to get more of these in every shade!
